เรื่อง การอ่านข่าว

ข่าว (News) หมายถึง เหตุการณ์ที่คนในสังคมกาลังให้ความสนใจ และตีพิมพ์เผยแพร่ทาง หนังสือพิมพ์ หรือนิตยสาร เหตุการณ์ที่นามาเขียนเป็นข่าว จะต้องเป็นเรื่องทันเหตุการณ์ และส่งผลกระทบต่อบุคคลในสังคม

ข่าวมีองค์ประกอบ ๔ ส่วน คือ พาดหัวข่าว ความนา ส่วนเชื่อม และเนื้อข่าว ดังนี้

๑. พาดหัวข่าว (Headline) เป็นส่วนนาที่สร้างความสนใจโดยใช้คาที่สะดุดตา และตัวอักษรขนาดใหญ่กว่าเนื้อข่าว

๒. ความนา (Lead) คือ เนื้อเรื่องย่อของข่าวเป็นการเขียนอธิบายให้ผู้อ่านทราบ โดยสรุปว่า เหตุการณ์ที่นามาเขียนข่าวมีเนื้อความอย่างไร ความนาที่ดีต้องชัดเจน และทาให้ผู้อ่านเข้าใจเรื่องราว

๓. ส่วนเชื่อม (Neck) คือ ส่วนที่อยู่ระหว่างความนากับเนื้อเรื่อง ทาหน้าที่ขยายความหรือให้รายละเอียดเพิ่มเติมจากความนา

๔. เนื้อข่าว (Body) คือ รายละเอียดทั้งหมดของข่าวส่วนใหญ่นิยมเขียนเป็นย่อหน้าสั้น ๆ หากมีรายละเอียดมากก็จะเขียนแยกออกเป็นหลายย่อหน้า โดยเรียงลาดับเหตุการณ์ที่เกิดขึ้นหรือเรียงลาดับความสาคัญจากมากไปหาน้อย
